Hey, Guess what I did?

I am so tired of helping everyone else! So to day, I went to my sis in laws and straightened my hair. I did not clean or cook a 4 course meal (I do everyday) NOT TODAY!!!!

I put on makeup (haven't in 3 weeks) and watched Jerry Springer!
I never do that even when I am stuck in bed. I still drag my self out and manage supper, and clean the house.

NOT TODAY!!!!!!

Today is hystersister day!!!! Hope all my sisters on this site today are hangin in there!! Love you girls!!!!

Waiting forever,
Leslie

Strike

I was on strike, if can call it that, a couple of weeks ago myself. It seems no one in my house understands what is about to and what has been happening to me. They are so use to me doing everything all the time. I decided not to hardly to anything for a few days. My son's girlfriend came over and said your house is a mess. I said yeh I know. And I did not feel bad about it either. I guess that was my hystersister days. Well you go girl!!!

Thanks to my sisters

Thanks for your reponse Jet. Without the support of my sisters here I would have never had the strenghth to do these things. It is teaching me that sometimes we have to let things go and think about ourselves. And for many of us, like myself, this is the first time I have really done that. This website rocks!!! Thanks again to you Maralyn.

Hey, Guess what I did?

GOOD FOR YOU!!!! I am planning on having my sister give me a manicure/pedicure for hands and feet (just the simple things...she didn't go to school for it)..and then give me a conditioning treatment and malibu treatment for my hair. Then I'll get highlights right before surgery. We need this time for ourselves!!!!!

Have a great day

Hey, Guess what I did?

Ladies,

The trick to this (as is often said of the holiday spirit) is how do we remember and stick to these new habits! perhaps billboards that only we can read, airplanes flying banners, or maybe we'll just remind each other.

I am soooo tired. No hormones yet (no estrogen period) - could I need something at two weeks postop????? Not sleeping well and lots of night sweats (had those pre-op). Have a great day - the sun is out in Norther Illinois, which is a miracle in November!
