Chemo number 2 finished

And it went off without any problems.

My oncologist was watching to make sure that I did not have a reaction to the carboplatin this time so they dripped it over two hours and all was well.

I was in the treatment soo long today that I thought I was going to have to sleep there. As I was finishing up, everyone else was cleaning up for the night. Nothing like wanting to get me out of there but it was 4:30 pm already and even I had had enough.

So, tomorrow I should be fine and will watch for any changing symptons on Friday and Saturday. She did change my nausea meds so I am hoping that that will make a big difference this time.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful relaxing Thanksgiving filled with lots of love and joy and shared with family and friends.

There will be six of us at my house, Me, my husband, my mom, my younger son, my married son, and my Pilgrim daughter-in-law. (her family is from England so we always tease her). Possibly some friends stopping by for desserts.

Be well everyone

Hi Rosalie, So glad that your second treatment is now over and that it seemed to go well. Here's hoping any side effects are minimal if at all. Sounds like you have a nice little family gathering planned for Thanksgiving. Relax and enjoy!

Rosalie,
So glad to hear the treatment went well..

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving... relaxing and everything tastes great!! (I'll be on day four, so my taste is a little funky.. but I doubt it will stop me from eating.. lol)

May all your remaining treatments go just as smoothly as today's.

Happy Thanksgiving...

I am glad another treatment is behind you. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. Tonight I am remembering Thanksgiving two years ago when I had just finished my first three days of chemo. Time has really flown
God Bless all my sisters on this site. I am so thankful for all of you.
