How long before return to work?

I'm scheduled for my LAVH on 12/6. I am wondering how quickly any of you ladies returned to work? I was told I could return between 2-3 weeks. Is that to much to expect? (I have an office job and requires no lifting whatsoever)

Thanks!

How long before return to work?

i returned at two weeks part time at week 3 full time. it was tiring i wont kid you on that. i run my own business and if i didn't get back there i might not have had a business. but thats just me. others need lots of time to heal. we are all different.

the reason that i still post on this web site is to give some LIW some encouragement that things can go smoothly. not everyone has complications.
hope you heal fast!

How long before return to work?

Hello Bonnie
I had my LAVH on October 13th with no complications what so ever and returned back to work on October 25th..... The first week I worked 30 hours or so then the next week Iworked 35 hours and back to full time the following week..... I also have a office job I work for the Government..... We have a great office.... I'm over 7 weeks now and I still don't lift anything heavy.... This is the best thing I have done...... As far my recovery it has been great.... If you have any more questions please feel free to email....... Take care and good luck....

How long before return to work?

Thank you sisters!!!

I had been hoping someone would post "actual" return to work data. I have REALLY put this off because I just can't afford 6 wks off. I would like to plan on returning to work in 3 weeks. I don't do any lifting and only do minimal walking in an hour period.

Maybe I can give this old troublesome uterus the boot sooner than I had planned!!
