Unhappy - Leaking Please help Leaking Please help

Hello,

I'm 8 weeks post-op TVH,TVT, REC and still leaking. At my six weeks check-up I told my doc about it and he said it's just a healing process going through scar tissue and it will get better. It was getting better but now it seems to be at a stand still. I'm worried. Has anyone who has had problems afterward? Does it get better? Should I see another dr or just be patient? I'm starting to get depressed about it. I thought I was done with having to wear pantyliners all of the time. All advice is appreciated.

Leaking Please help

Hi ((ChangedWoman)),
I'm sorry to hear that your experiencing these symptoms Sounds as if you had quite a lot of repair work along with your surgery..it can take quite some time for our bodies to heal and adjust to what has occured I would think that being as your symptoms have been improving that would be a good sign?!?

Here are some links to our Resources Directory that contain some info on the TVT along with other Bladder complications, procedures ect...perhaps they can hold some additional insight into this for you:

Short term data show benefits, drawbacks of TVT:

Re: Leaking Please help

I had a TAH on November 15,2004, the Dr. said he was also going to fix my bladder problem. Well I go now more than ever and am up 3 to 4 times a night, and have leakage just trying to get to the bathroom. I too asked my Dr. and he said there was still a lot of swelling going on and to be patient! Easy for him to say. If you find out anything please let me know also, thinking about calling the Dr. again.
