MariaCoo not great news

Maria and Adrie, I pray for you all the time and will continue. May God ease this pain and bring healing to Maria. May you both feel him in your lives every time there's a bad moment. We are here for you both in good times and hard times; I don't think a single one of us would be afraid of or back out at bad news. We can't be there in person, but know that we are there in spirit and if you feel the room getting crowded, it's us in there with you. Please keep us updated. We worry a lot more when we don't hear than when we do. Prayers, prayers, prayers going up.

Maria and Adrei: I am praying for both of you during this time, wishing Maria no pain at all, and that they may both find peace during this difficult time. Maria has certainly touched my life and made a difference, please let this pain pass for her. I will pray for miracles and God's love to shine on them both.

Dear Maria and Adrie ~ There are no words to express my sorrow for Maria's pain. I want to cry and scream and yell! But I won't because I want to honor Maria's wish that we not be disheartened by her news.

Maria, please know that despite the fact that we have never met in real life, you mean a great deal to me. I promise to pray everyday that your pain subsides. Adrie, may you find the strength to support Maria as she needs to be supported. I know being the caregiver is a tough job.

I am very sad to hear this news about Maria, though I am not surprised. I pray that her pain is soon managed effectively. I remind myself that they are already in God's hands.

Hello again.

I just spoke to Adrie, he telephoned.

He sounded good - working to focus on the positive.
Maria had her last radiation treatment yesterday and they hope that shortly the recent tumour will have shrunk enough to stop pressing on the nerve and stop causing so much pain.

He even said that once she is in the hospice if she feels well enough, and not in too much pain, they might be able to go on some short trips for a day or two, as long as the hotel has an elevator--- Maria loves travelling.

Maria hasn't a lot of energy right now, and focussing to read for any length of time is tiring - so our short messages will be just the thing to lift her spirits.

Adrie will be bringing them to her as I send them out.
I'm going to enable my email and if anyone wants to send emails, I will forward them. Adrie won't be visiting the site, by the time he gets home he's very tired.

He has given me the phone number at the hospital and I'll try to call Maria tomorrow.

Thank you for the update. The strength and caring of women on this board continues to amaze me.

You continue to and always will be an inspiration to women on this board. I hope the radiation is successful in reducing the tumor and you are able to spend some time travelling. I am so sorry that you are sufferring. Our prayers are with you!
