Testosterone & Libido

Do you feel this works? If so, how much do you take and how is it administered?

Yes, I feel that it works for me. We are all different, though, and what works for one of us may not work for another.

I use a compounded natural testosterone cream, 1%, 1/2 gram applied weekly (started out every night though).

Hi there! I had testosterone and estridiol implants a little over a month ago....they've made a WORLD of diffenence. I highly recommend the implant pellets. They work better than all the other methods I've tried (and I've tried ALOT!) Libido is VERY GOOD! Wishing you well...Kimi

Hi

Testosterone cream comes from a compounding pharmacy. You can use the locator service in this link: to find a compounding pharmacy near you. You should have your serum level of free testosterone checked first though. Testosterone isn't always the answer.

I am using 2% compounded testosterone cream applied daily at .4 ML per dose. I have tried applying it different places to find where it works best, though my pharmacist said to rub it into my wrists. I don't think that works as well as other areas....

If I didn't use testosterone cream I wouldn't have a sexual thought in my head (like in pre-puberty!). It does help the libido but it still isn't back to what it used to be before.

Testosterone & Libido

Hey Ladies,

Does the testosterone your using make you feel anxious at all? How do you know your getting to much? I use 1% testosterone cream and decided to back off some because I couldn't control my stress level. I would get upset about something and couldn't get calmed down for along time. I wasn't sure if it had something to do with the testosterone. I don't have much of sex drive if I cut back.

Thanks,

Pam

Hi Pam

Here's a link to the symptoms of too much/too little estrogen, progesterone and testosterone.

Are you using progesterone? It's sometimes referred to as the calming hormone. You can find out more about it by reading the progesterone articles from the Hormone Article List.

Too much testosterone never made me feel anxious, but it did make me feel aggressive.

I hope this helps!
