This is my third try to post a message, so it will be short. God's blessings on the sisters going to the castle on Dec. 13th. Are we ready? YES! How's seven lip balms, jolly ranchers and chocolate pretzels for the nurses! Thank you sisters for all the support you have given me, I do want to return to help others sisters. Thanks to all of my wonderful HysterSisters I think I'm ready. I've been working and playing hard this week! And I think I've gained at least 5lbs so far...Yikes! I have my chocolates for the nurses just need to pick up some hard candy. I saw that I can have lemon drops with my clear diet so I'm going to stock up on some of those.

I learned tons and look forward to coming back post op to learn more.

Blessings to all the who are going to the Castle this next week. I wish you all smooth surgeries and easy recoveries.

Am hopefully having a LAVH without the BSO - won't know till it's all over.

I go in on Monday the 13th at 6:00 am. Having a LAVH/BSO (small chance of having to do it abdominally depending on fibroid and it's level of cooperation!)

Well sisters
I went for pre-op appt. today. I am ready (I think) It is so weird 5 months ago I was in the same hospital having a baby, now I am losing my ability to have them, (sniff, sniff) BUT I am going to get my life back and feel like me again. Pray for me. Thanks so much sisters. in waiting
3 days and counting

It's been a roller coaster ride, but I'm ready. Maybe. :-) If I am, it's due to the wonderful information and suggestions on this site. The Christmas shopping (except for a few online items or gift cards) is done. I've cooked and frozen 7 meals. I cleaned my bedroom and bathroom today. I started packing.

Got the word yesterday that my surgery was moved from 5:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Less time to worry and stress -- and go without food and water! -- on Monday. The hospital called this evening to pre-register me. Yep, I might be ready.
