2 weeks, pain, fever
I am two weeks post op today and still feel like crap! Got a bit of infection in the incision, took antibiotics for a week, but still am running a fever that causes me to feel even more achy. I would love to hear from anyone who can offer encouragement,as I'm in this by myself...my dog is a good listener, but...I am also sleeping my life away! Should I try to do more? Thanks sisters.

Have you been in touch with your doctor? Anytime you run a fever, you should consult with the doc. You might still have an infection and need more antibiotics. Let us know what the doctor says.
Good luck and good health.

I am sorry you are not feeling well. Maybe you should give your doc a call if your done taking the antibiotics but still runing a temp. Its possible you may still have an infection. As far as not feeling well otherwise at 2 weeks. I have to say that your not alone. Week 2 and 3 were awful for me and then it gradually got better. Just remember to take it easy and rest, rest, rest. Take care and feel better soon.

2 weeks, pain, fever
Hi,
I'm 2 weeks tomorrow. I'm not doing as well as I think I should or compaired to others here. I'm older so maybe that has something to do with it. My pain is mostly a burning on the left and pulling feeling. Some shooting little pains and pelvic heavyness. Bowel discomfort is always there. If I had to have an infection on top of this, I'd be boucing off the walls!!!
My doctor said that she removed a very large uterus and did alot of suturing inside. She was not surprised at my recovery rate and told me to rest but walk often. I'm doing just what she says.
Like the others, I'd suggest you call the office and let them know your situation tday. Off the meds but still running a fever deserves a call. Hugs and kisses to your doggie...i lost mine and miss her so very much.
You take care and let us know what the doctor says.
Maralyn
