I had such a crazy Saturday & all that cleaning that I needed to do yesterday will have to have to get done today. My DH has decided it's time for me to trade in my 9-year-old car for a "new-to-me" Saturn Vue. All the paperwork is done & we'll be picking it up on Tuesday... whoohoo! So we had multiple trips back & forth to the dealer's yesterday...

We did get some shopping done & I really only have a few items to pick up and they are gift cards... so today will be wrapping the gifts I do have!!! Found wrapping paper on sale at Joanne's fabric for 60% off!!! DD is into knitting & I wanted to get her some gifts... so we took advantage of their sales as well.

Food was good... breakfast was an omlet & I ate about 1/3 of it with just about a 1/2 cup of home fries. Lunch/dinner was southwestern egg rolls & they were baked and full of veggies & chicken. I had 4 halves with

Don't know what today will bring... I've been wanting a nice soup & crusty bread & cheese to go with it. I will need to put together a list for food shopping for the week ahead... Don't quite know what I'll make for Christmas.

Excercise was walking the dogs yesterday... Nancy, I'll be taking your advice and getting my guys "winter woolies"... I, too, just love the out-of-doors in the winter time. It's my inspirational time of year... always the promise of life coming a-new.

to all who need one... you know who you are... Off to enjoy this foggy, cool day...

Good morning Sue and to all that follow. Gee it's quiet in here this morning,Everyone must be up and out early or just having a slow quiet Sunday morning. I was up and out at 7 AM. Food shopping is done house is clean(did that Friday night and yesterday) The big news of the day I GOT MY TREE !!! lol went to 3 lots before we found one that had trees and no Oni no Charlie Brown ones he he,Food choices yesterday not bad I really didn't eat all that much.Water is still going down slow though.I was up and down 2 flights o f stairs doing laundry so I guess I got a work out.
Today is DH family Christmas.Lasagna, italian sausages, homemade meatballs garlic bread, salad and of course wine. Our lasagna dinner has become a Christmas tradition. So I guess food choices today will not be that OP.
Wrapped all the gifts yesterday just have a couple to pick up. I will walk downtown sometime this week and finish up. No need to go to the mall thank goodness,Supposed to start snowing sometime tonight 3-6 inches they are seeing. I guess that remains to be seen,Maybe there will be a snow day tomorrow no school That would be nice!!!

Wow, Val and Sue.........I came to keep you guys company.

Late check-in today for me. Right now it is snowing with wind chills below zero. Temps just dropped from 35 to 21 in about an hour. I have been OP and drinking my water. No real formal exercise this weekend unless you call Christmas preparations a new form of exercise. I am DONE shopping.......thank God. Tomorrow will be a Curves day and I will be baking my third kind of cookie.

I had a MO moment today. My sister and her family stopped by and my BIL said "I am looking good." Pretty good from a man who barely notices anything.

s to Denise! Good time to be a Princess again.

Bye all!!!!!!

Wow!!! This sure has been a slow day!!! I don't think I've ever seen so few posts. I do hope that it means that everyone is out being active and eating right!!!

Today was family get-together and, as expected, food really wasn't OP. However, for a holiday day, it wasn't that bad either: I had two beers over the course of the afternoon and snacked a lot, but, overall, it didn't amount to a whole lot of food. Unfortunately, because one of my brothers, and his family, couldn't make it (he has a really bad cold), we had waaay too much food. So I now have two cakes, a fruit cake and a lot of cold cuts sitting in my fridge. Oh well, I'll have nice sandwiches out of it

Exercise, of course, has been out: I did walk from one store to the other, but that's only a 10 minute walk!!!

late post from me

Xmas party today after final "fun" stuff shopping. Was OP for that one. Came home and made myself some chicken soup. Felt and tasted good.

No excerise except standing in long check out lines, lol. Water still needs to be better. Started snowing and blowing hard earlier this evening. Tomorrow should be really cold. Feels like Xmas now!!

Sue - wishing you the best of luck with your "new vue". You know that I just LOVE mine and sware that it saved mine and Rachel's life in our accident! Enjoy! What color did you get?

My DH was a sweetie - he wrapped many gifts again tonight so I could concentrate on paying the bills. not sure he saved himself or me? LOL bills vs gift wrapping....hummmmm hard choise.

Hugs to all - Hope the week is happy and safe for everyone.
Melissa
