sex hurts
When we have sex it hurts at the very top with penatration, anyone else have this pain? i think more on the right side side then left. I wonder if this will go away with time. My cervix is removed. I had some pain before the hysterectomy put I thought is was my large uterus...... I don't know, I am worried that it won't go away.
TAH/BSO on 11-15-04 cervix removed, large uterus, abnormal bleeding, h/o high grade SIL on cervix, cone biopsy....
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sex hurts
Have you been released from the doc to have sex yet? From what I remember, (it has been so long) that it did hurt for awhile but that went away. Just keep an eye on it and after a while, if it still hurts, you need to speak with your doc and let him/her know about it.

I hurt like that during sex the first few times after my surgery. Things did get better for me. Sex feels better now that it did before surgery.
I hope things get better for you too!!

sex hurts
Well for me , I waited 11 weeks, just because I didn't feel up to having sex, than one night I got all randy, and one thing lead to another and things were great, no pain at all. I think it will get better with time, and relaxing, I heard that sometimes things in there need to get stretched out again, not sure about that, but maybe.

Dear Sunnyacres
I had the same problem you described and saw the Dr. 2 days later. After examing internally he said the sutures on the vaginal cuff were not quite healed yet and any action would, of course, feel abrasive and painful. The reason the stitches were not healed was due to lack of estrogen(I had to wait to take hrt due to endo) so....he prescribed 2 weeks of estrogen cream therapy internally and now I am fine and my husband is extremely fine! hope this helps. Jilli
