Leg Pains

Dear Sisters,
I really need to know if any of you out there have had problems with your legs out there after your hysterectomy. I had a complete hyst on the 28 May/04 and i'am 41. I had really bad cause of endo and had it removed twice before with lazer before but kept coming back so had to have a hyst and still didnt remove all my endo. I didnt take anything after my operation and went back to the doctor and he said that maybe he cut a nerve or my left over endo has falling off and maybe is on a nerve or something. Has anyone had any thing simalar to this? Some days i hardly can get up without screaming in pain it is mostly in my upper part of my legs and sometimes my knees. I f anyone can help me with some suggestion it would be great.
I also have gain about 20 pounds and am trying to get that off too which isnt a easy tasks.
Thanks Kathy

Leg Pains

Hi Kathy,

I think it's time to see your doctor again. If you are having increased and continuing pain your doctor needs to examine you. Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Still Having Leg Pains

Well i went back to the doctors and he put me on some inflamatory pills for 10 days didnt do nothing so now i'am on more pills but have to take 2 a day and he sent me to get a massage. They tell me that my muscles are all knotted up and i need to get more massage done at least once a week. The doctor also told me to bath 20 mins a day with epsion salt and hot water and keep heat on as much as possible. I really hope i start to feel better soon because so far this operation hasnt made me feel great like it should. Then to top all things off my doctor called me today and wants to talk to me about my bone scan things dont look good they said. There are days i wish i never had this operation at all but i never had a choice the way things were. I know most of the women that have it are doing great and things are going great but i'am just one of the few that if anything should go wrong it has. Thanks for letting me talk about this instead of crying all the time it is good to get this out.
