Hormone Patch?

Hi Ladies,

I hope everyone is having a good day. I have a question regarding the hrt patchs, I'm not really up on these, can anyone point in the right direction for some helpful information. My Dr. started me on Cenestin .03 a very small amount I have come to find out and not helping much at all, she never said anything about a patch. I see her on the 5th of January to ask for more, I want to have as much info as possible, can anyone help?

The patches come in a lot of different strengths and generally you would want to start out on the low side and work up, giving each change time to work before deciding if increasing the dose is necessary.

If you haven't been on your Cenestin long, it could be you need to give it more time to help, or a higher dose may work better if you have been on this dose for a while without improvement.

By all means ask your doctor about the patches if you are more comfortable with the idea of transdermal versus oral dosing!
