Belly Button Pain !!!!!

Hi Ladies....okay this sounds crazy....but does anyone have pain like at their belly button? I feel like mine is either in a knot or ready to fall off on the inside...can't explain it but it doesn't feel good. I am 3 weeks and 3 days post op, TVH.....thought I was doing great and have possibly done too much. Does putting border up in a bedroom count as too much????? Oh my, I feel like I have done something to hurt myself but I'm just not sure! If anyone has any thoughts or similar problem, please share it with me. I haven't told the Doc about it yet.......As always, thanks for any words of wisdom...I love this site!!! God Bless!~Denise~

Yes.. I do have that pain as well. Just below my belly button. It is really sore. It comes and goes. I get it more at night than morning. I think it is maybe muscles getting back their nerves and waking up. I could be way off.... who knows. I have an MD apt Thursday and I am going to ask about it then. I will let ya know what I find out.

I don't know the differences in healing between a TVH and a TAH, but it sounds like you may have done too much.

A call to the doctor in the morning wouldn't hurt!

yep!!! had my surgery in late july. i am in the same boat. belly button feels like its sick. went to the dr. he said i had a hernia. sent me to the surgeon and he said... nope you pulled your abdomen muscle. rest and stop doing heavy lifting..he did order an ultra sound. so who knows..i did something real stupid that included using my stomach muscles that are still sore. so hang in htere, overdoing seems like the deal, on and on it goes. good luck.
