How to get the book

I just got a message from Amazon.com, and they told me they were unable to fill my order for the book "Through the Land of Hyster, ..." Needless to say I was disappointed. I feel I really have access to this wonderful information and support because I have a computer and can get to the message boards. But I have a sister-in-law that had a hysterectomy 5 weeks ago and she does not have access to the Internet.

If anyone would have a "used" book, I would be interested in buying it for her. I can be reached at pbrandt@sc.cc.whecn.edu.

I was just notified that the publisher had taken the book "out of print" and would be returning the rights to me.

I have no idea how long the process will last...before he returns the rights to me and I can get it off to another publisher for print.

I will keep you posted as I get more information.

It would have been nice if he had notified me ahead of time.

I got the same response today from Amazon. Anybody know if we can get books through some other means? Is it in another printing? I wa just about to post this and saw others are having the same problems.

Kathy - Got my email from Amazon today. I had ordered two books, one for me to share with friends and one for local library (since one was not on shelf yet!)
Please pass these posts along to publisher & let them know you already have 'pre-sales'.
