sexual dysfunction

I had a total hys. last summer. Sense that time I have had a wonderful recovery but have absolutely no sexual drive at all. I have been married 32 years and feel so guilty about it. My husband deals with it but I know this is not fair to him. Is this normal?

I'm sorry you are dealing with low libido. Its not normal but not rare. You are not alone by any means.

Have you talked to your doctor about it? If not, nows the time. There is some treatment available that might work....and other treatment "in the works" in clinical trials we hope will be approved soon.

In the meantime, make sure you discuss this with your doctor. We think its the most important discussion the HysterSisters can have with their docs.

If we don't tell them....the medical community will assume we are fine.
