Take Two Tuesday~Jan. 11
Good morning girls,
Take Two means I didn't quite make it yesterday ... when I hit the door at home, I was starving. A home project with DH and DS had me looking for anything to eat and drink. Neither the pistachios or Bailey's were on KISS ... what a surprise there, huh? Seriously, not sure if KISS is going to work for me. I really miss my walnuts as my snack. On my regular OP program, they are allowed. Such a small thing, but they make a huge difference to me and I only eat a few twice a day as snacks. Somehow those carrots as a snack just didn't cut it. So will try to regroup today. It's all about making it work for us, right?
No yoga yet, but I am headed there. Have an appt with a new chiro today, recommended by my miracle doctor. Although the tailbone has improved, it's still there LOL. Seriously, it's been a year now that I have been dealing with this problem. That is way tooooo longggg.
Hearty congrats to Oni, Val--awesome!! Toni and big hugs on the foot--OUCH! Add me to the group that wants out of the 180s. My low was 179 and I need to get back there and then lower and lower for those red dresses --glad they were such inspiration to all. Xena--Hey, whatever works! Often money works ... yep, much rather spend that money on something else. Does your friend also pay you if she skips? Bliss--woohoo on signing up for the gym! Hoping all goes well with the MRI, dear. MLee--Like your KISS! Melissa--Not there on the Christmas stuff yet ... need to get it put away if I am planning a V-Day party, huh? Enjoyed reading about your bargain skinny finds the other day! Hi to Sandi, Fran, Nancy, Sharon, Sue, Ann, Em, and so many more.
Last, thanks so very much for all the hugs ... I truly appreciate them.
Have a great Tuesday!
Shirley

Morning Shirley and to all that follow!
Cloudy cold day here today calling for more snow tonight followed by ice. Yahoo, Wish it would just snow and stay snow,Oh well
Shirley I too had the hungry horrors when I got home from work yesterday, I had a few pistachios and some torilla chips.I did pass on the Oreo cookies the kids try to share with me, Water went down well yesterday but I don't think I had enough.
Breakfast was a low carb tortilla with peanut butter, lunch will be tuna salad with grape tomatoes snacks yogurt and v-8 juice, dinner will be left over turkey dinner from Sunday, I will pass on the potatoes and stuffing and have a salad and brocilli instead.
DH informed me he put real butter in the squash(after I ate it of course) not that butter is a bad thing I just don't know how much he added.
Shirley: Hope all goes well at the chiro today. You need to find what works best for you. The first time I went On SBD all was well Since then I have tried a couple of times to go back to it and it just didn't work for me.Limiting my portions and eating every couple of hours seems to be working for me.I still need to up my activity level just not there yet I am afraid. It's not easy going giving up my couch potato status he he but I am working on it, I do get some physical activity at work so I am not a total slug.lol
Oni on the 7lb loss YOU GO GIRL!
To you ladies who are stuck in the 180's I know you can break the plateau YOU CAN DO IT I KNOW YOU CAN!!GO TEAM GO
Cheryl: Happy belated birthday. Hope the foot is better soon.
Fran: Yep kicked Izzy clear across the pond sorry about that!

Morning everyone, sorry I've been in and out so erratically. I choked on a crumb on Friday and have been coughing ever since. But I can be a psychological cougher so I've been waiting to see if it goes away. I'm calling the dr. in a few minutes to see if I can get someone to listen to my chest. Folks at work are alarmed at this cough and I'm sure I'm bothering them
Food has not been great, and I skipped step class yesterday because of this cough and the fact that I can feel my lungs. So I'm a mess right now, but thinking of you
Shirley, I am so sorry for your loss.
Special to the birthday girls!
To everyone, I'm thinking of you!!

Good Morning Everyone! Woke to a new dusting of snow this morning. It's going to be in the 50's here tomorrow and into the single digits by the weekend. What's up with that?
DH walked with me last night, and we ran into a neighbor (and his fur baby) out walking, so we did an extra lap. I like when that happens. I usually can't get DH to go an extra, but he was talking cars with the neighbor. I also did Curves.
I've got a couple of stubborn pounds that just won't drop. Time to get really serious about them I think.
I'm heading to to find some protein for breakfast. I do find I don't get hungry at 10:00 if I have some cheese or other protein with breakfast.
Hi Shirley and Valerie! And everyone else!
Have a BEST OP day!

Desk, You snuck in while I was posting. Do have the cough checked. Better to be safe with these things.

Take Two Tuesday~Jan. 11
Morning all,
I am back from my visit to Jasper, what a wonderful weekend we had. On the trip there I made good food choices, had a salad for lunch and no snacking in the truck, which is a big one for me. Then for dinner I had a stirfry. But the couple of crantini's (martini made with cranberry juice) were delishous. Sat am I had the buffet just a little of this and that, made sure there was grapefruit and yogurt as well. Lunch we went to Earls (I think you have them in the USA) I had their Hunan Kung Poa its a veggystir fry love them. The party night, oh man, the dinner lasted about 4 hours. They started with appeitizers, (pat self on the back I didn't even have any) then came the soup, half a bowl for me, Salad only had the ceaser and the way they had it set up you make up your own, so total control on the dressing. then the main course, roasted baby potaotes, steamed veggies grilled salmon and roast beef. With each course of the meal there was a new bottle of wine for tasting. Six different kinds. Then they came with a ginger spice cake for dessert and a choice between grande marnier or bailyes with the dessert. I only ate a couple of bites and that was it for me. I can say it was mostly off P but I only took little bits of what there was. And I didn't snack between meals and that is a biggy for me. Sunday was buffet for breakfest again and lunch we stopped at a Subway restaurant and I ordered a six inch sub and only ate about half it was gross.
Today is weighin and I am guessing I may have gained a lb or two. I would not be suprised at all, considering the wine alone. But today is a new day and I am going to try and get the water in still struggling with that.
Good morning Val and Shirley, sounds like you have your days planned as well.
I recall reading Some birthdays, and congrats on weight loss but for the life of me can't remember who now, I have to go back and read all the posts from the weekend and catch wup with you all. So happy birthday and Congrats to you all, hello to all who follow today.
Hope you all have a great OP kinda day
Desk and Nancy you both snuck in while I was writing my book report, anyway Desk do get that cough checked out, we don't want you getting ill. Nancy congrats on the extra walk. We got snow here last night as well. The temp here is kinda crazy as well, sunday am it was minus 40 C and Monday am it was only minus 15 C this am its minus 20 C again. But I have noticed a considerable change in the length of the days again now. yesterday it was still abit day light at 5:30 pm and just a couple of weeks ago it was pitch black. Come on spring, I am waiting.
Hugs
Denise

Morning All
I am afraid the bruises on the sole of my foot are coming up and it is more difficult to stand on (can't even blame it on the drink ) but I am hoping that with a lot of TLC it will heal quickly. I have not done yoga as promised becuase of it - I am fearful of stretching and flexing my foot so as not to disturb the stitches and make it bleed again ... so I think that I will wait a few days, get my head in gear and start all over again ...
Lunch has been a cold grated cheese and onion fajita with a can of diet coke. I have had my caffeine input for the day and I am now onto the good old failsafe 'H2O' .. as this evening is a birthday drink with my pals tea will not be OP (we are eating as well) but I will try to avoid the chips and eat sensibly !
Must go - Hugs to everyone (whether you need them or not) Girls you are my inspiration !

Morning all
Just a small note to say hi
I am not Kissing at this time. It is just not possible. My MIL passed away on Sunday evening and I am now here with my hubby and his family. The stress is getting better as the stories are told and the tears flow. The healing process has definitly started.
So Once I am home I will be KISSING again. I love it and it is easy.
I snack on meat. Though I try not to do that to.
Oni Congrats you must be thrilled though I am a little jealous and sad that I dont have the will power to continue this right now. I hate when I fail.
Shirley and Xena thanks for you your support it is truly wonderful. You are so good to me.
Hello to everyone else. I dont have the time to post individually but wanted to say hi and to let you know what I am up to.
Thanks for all your support

Special s Katie. I am so sorry to hear about your MIL's passing. Just know that she is in a better place now and is not in pain or sorrow. Take this time to remember her!
The 180's..........still there and will be for awhile I am afraid. I have been OP but like Val and Shirley, I have been starving lately and I can't figure out why. No matter what I eat, I still feel hungry. I am sure it is all in my head. Water going down nicely and I may do some exercising with the FitTV channel. It's fun if and when I can keep up with them. Snowing here again today but temps will be climbing into the 50's tomorrow andTthursday. Good time to get in a walk outside for a change. Later..........

Good Morning everyone,
Katie s , I am so sorry for your families loss.
Desk, I hope you get that cough checked out and taken care of.
Toni, I hope your foot heals quickly, take care.
Denise, it sounds like you had a wonderful time, good job on good food choices and staying strong on not eating what you shounldn't.
Hello to Nancy, Val and Shirley and all who follow.
OK you Girls who are stuck in the 180's,
Time to move on though I'm sure you're nice ladies,
I'm here in the 190's and ready to move down,
There isn't room for all of us in the 180's town,
So, move on you dear friends, if you please,
Don't be offended while I tease.
We are all in this together,
This is one storm that together we will weather.
Have a wonderful OP day everyone, don't forget your H2O!!!
All I have to do is walk outside and stick out my tongue it is raining so much.
