Question for women with prolapses

I know that the sister here on the message board are not dr's......But, I need some advice. This morning when I got up, my bladder was very full. When I went potty, it was kind of hard to get the pee out. I have never had this problem before. Now, I am sore and achy down there. And I have a lot of pressure. Haven't had the peeing problem since this morning. Could it be my bladder was pushing on the uretha(Is that the tube from the bladder?) since it was so full? Could I have a bladder infection? Sounds possible, I think. Is this something someone else has experienced. Oh by the way, I have prolapse of the bladder #3, prolapse of the uterus #2 (dr. thinks it would be worse but it is sitting on top of the bladder), and prolapse of the rectum #1. plus, adneomyosis and pelvic congestion. Just a little worried. Can prolapses become worse quickly? If so, what happens. I know this isn't a life threatning thing, but it sure is a life-altering one. lol. Any advice would be appreciated.

Question for women with prolapses

Hi, I can't answer your question, my hyst was not for prolapse. I did want to bump this up so that maybe someone esle will see your question and share info with you

You can also do a search on prolapse and find other threads about it ( the search button is on the right side just above the purple banner on each page here ). The Resources Forum here is another good place to look.

Best wishes.

Prolapse

Donna ,

Greeting's
I too had a prolapse uterus. I Lived With It For Yrs.
Sound To Me That You Slept On Your Stomach And Your Uterus Slide Up tight With Your Bladder. Best Thing To Do Each Morning , Is To lie Flat , On your back And Gentle Rub your Stomach .
It Will relax The Area Enough That The Uterus Will Slide away from the bladder enough so you can pee half way desent.
Good Luck

Question for women with prolapses

Cathy,

Thank you very much for answering my question. I was starting to believe no one knew the answer. I think that might just help. I have not really had any problems like that before. I have know about my prolapses since Nov. I think they may be getting worse.

I don't know if I slept on my stomach, but I definitely slept uncomfortable that night. With my 9 yr. old daughter, who is all over the place. I woke up with her legs on my tummy. So, yeah...... that would make sense.

Again, Thanks.

Question for women with prolapses

having a very full bladder in and of itself can cause a person to have problems emptying; its due to the distension from being too full. having a prolapse can add to the situation. If this were me i'd make sure i woke up during the night to emtpy the bladder; if you have to, set an alarm clock to go off 3-4 hrs after going to bed.
stay well
