post-op bowel problems

On another post, the sisters were talking about bowel problems post op--most mostly constipation even 6 or more weeks after hyst.
My question is on the flip side of that--had anyone had problems with Diarrhea? I know this is gross, but since the hyst I have had D all the time. At I have to do is eat and before I came finish a meal it starts up. I hate to go anywhere because I have to go so much--even at work. I take imodium, but sometimes it doesn't even help. Not eating isn't good, because if I drink even water it starts. I have irritable bowel but have only had 1 spasm attack since hyst, I think the big mass they removed took the pressure off, but now it's like I have a straight tube from mouth to rear.
Has anyone had this problem and can pass along advice?
