3 hour surgery?

my good doc apparently marked off 3 hours time for my surgery with the hospital! he also told me today that his practice partner will be assisting him with the surgery because of problems he had last time he went in this way last may. He is thinking he might leave both ovaries and can't promise he is gonna leave the cervix. I mentioned this site to him as a very informative site for him to give to his patients so he will be looking here *wavies* to check it out first. He was so nice! he went ahead and gave me my scripts to fill for when I will be home so we won't have to worry about getting them after the surgery! HOWEVER. he's making me not only do the mag. citrate he's also making me do 2 enemas! I have IBS and HATE doing enemas! *sigh* I couldn't talk him out of it. the mag citrate works well and I don't mind using it. I hate the enemas though. starting to get a bit nervous. oh and the tylenol 3 he called in yesterday is helping my headache! I think the fact that I got my orthodic in my mouth adjusted today helped too. I took a 2 hour nap and that seems to have helped calm things down. good luck to the ladies goin tomorrow!

3 hour surgery?

Hi, my surgery took about 2 1/2 hours so the 3 hours sounds in the normal range. I think that it's good that his partner will be there to help

Sorry about the enemas, I'm not crazy about them either. Just remember to follow his orders exactly. Dr's have reasons for what they order for us.

I'm happy that your headache is better. I am miserable when I have a headache myself. That nap sounds good too
