Iching

Does anyone have a problem with itching? Its as thought things are crawling.
I have been to the derm. doctor and they all can't find anything wrong. Its like my nerve endings are driving me nuts. Especially at night. (yes, in my private area. Outside of it). I wonder if its the hormones i am taking? Even though i have cut down.
Anyone else with this. It seems to come and go...but when its here, its soooooooooo drives me nuts.

Hi Dana

Oh yes, I use to have the dry itchiness all the time and it can drive you alittle nutty

What Hrt are you currently using? Was there a reason you cut down on your dose? I am wondering because low estrogen can contribute to dry skin. Here is an article that explains symptoms of low estrogen. Too Much/Too Little

There was a period of time where I did not use estrogen and all I did was scratch my legs. They were always so itchy even after I put lotion on them. That went away when I found the right dose of estrogen.

The itching on the outside of the vagina can also be from low estrogen. Here is an article on Vaginal dryness

Some women do find that they need to add in some form of vaginal estrogen along with their current estrogen to relieve the dryness and itching.

I hope this helps.
