cold flashes not hot flashes?

I have heard of hot flashes as signs of menopause but not cold flashes.
I just read some woman get cold flashes instead of hot flashes. Wow I could have been going through perimenopause for the last 4 years and didn't know it. I have been having the cold flashes before the surgery and I still get them.

If I knew Cold flashes could be apart of pre-menopause I might not have kept my overies.

Anybody else have Cold flashes instead of Hot flashes?

Lord i have both.............i have a fan next to my bed that has a remote.......so i can switch it on and off..........it drives my poor DH crazy........durning the night.........

I get both too. The first 3 weeks after surgery I was freezing all of the time. Now I'm back to hot/cold. Keeps life interesting, doesn't it!
