skin tone change

Has anyone experienced a darkening is their skin tone? I am stopped by complete strangers and asked if I had just come back from vacation because I look as though I have a tan. My family is even telling me this. Don't know if it is completely unrelated or due to hysterectomy. I am seeing a dermatologist next week. Can anyone relate? Mighty Mite

I know that taking hrt can create changes in skin tone (darker) but I'm not sure I remember anyone talking about it from not taking hrt.
