Blood clots

Cathie's symptoms was a terrible pain in her back and difficulty breathing. She called the doctor and he stated that he didn't think it was a blood clot, but come in for x-ray. She did that and he didn't see anything and send her home. The next morning her husband called in desperation and said she needed to a doctor. My doctor, a partner, but located in another building was the only one immediately available. She went in and he suspected clots. He send her to the hospital for a cat-scan. As she was getting dressed after to leave, they came and said she had clots and had to stay the night. That was Tuesday. I think they are letting her out this morning.

It sounds like she needs a specialist. I'll strongly encourage her to pursue that road asap. Because of where we live, those options are limited.
