Surgery set for Feb 11th

Ok ladies, it is final. I finally had my two week appointment (after my laparoscopy) with the doctor and I am scheduled for a TVH (taking just the uterus and the cervix) on the 11th. I am kind of excited to be done with the pain but still scared, NOT liking the fact I have to be in the hospital for 24 hours! I am not fond of hospitals! If anyone has any suggestions for me, I would love to hear them! I noticed a lot of the sisters out there have had the TAH and I need more info on the TVH. Thanks!

I don't think anyone is truly fond of hospitals. You won't be in there very long, however -- soon after your operation you'll be home and on the road to recovery as a !

You might also want to visit the "Princesses Tell Hyst-Stories" forum for lots of stories about actual castle visits. For me, it helped to read them -- I'm not sure quite why. Maybe it just helped me have a better idea of what would "probably" happen while I was there. I don't know how many times you've been in the hospital (if at all) but for some reason, reading those stories helped me.
