'normal' size uterus?

hello,,im new..and have a question please.
when i went for my pre op my doc said my uterus was around a size 6..i sort of understood..making notes to never go to a doc again with out a tape recorder, note pad or a nother human ..more stressed then i thought i guess..any hows..i am wondering what size is a normal size uterus..and maybe i best give my doct a call monday ..i find i forgot a lot of thoughts i was thinking to ask at the time..any way...thank you ..

As for a size, I've never heard them given a simple number - maybe he was referring to centimeters.

Or perhaps weeks of gestation, which many women hear:

4 weeks - Plum
6 weeks - Mandarin
8 weeks - Apple
10 weeks - Orange
12 weeks - Grapefruit
