Dizziness with Estrogen replacement

Help , my doc put me on Premarin 1.25 mg , every day I have taken it , I have felt bad the rest of the day ... Nausea , Dizziness, and kinda fainty .... Just feel weird , that is the only medication I am taking so that has to be the problem. I have only been on it a week , she switched me from Climara patch to the pills and I am not doing so hot on the pills. Please help , I need some advice, should I just wait it out or what ??

Dizziness with Estrogen replacement

Hi, those symptoms are listed on my HRT information sheet as common side effects. I don't know about you, but those 3 things can stop a girl from doing most anything! I'd call my doctor and ask if those side effects will wear off or if you'll adjust to them shorty. Shorty, being the key word here!

If you hear the wrong answer ask for another type of HRT. Why did you stop the patch? I'm on a patch call Vivelle-Dot with no problems. It's good for my age, but I'm not sure it has all the right stuff for you.

No harm in calling your doctor.
Best of luck,
Maralyn

Dizziness with Estrogen replacement

Hi... I posted in January asking if there was a better time of day to take estrogen in pill form. The majority responded that it was better to take it before bed. My DRs office said that it might make you sleepy so if it does take it a night.

You might want to try this before you ask your dr about switching.

Good Luck!
