i gotta ?

hey ! one week today !!
im doing pretty good , i take 2 short walks a day , take a shower , and today i cooked my breakfast !
can any body tell me about how many stitches are involved in a vaginal hyst ? i never even thought to ask my dr , and now im curious !

Congrats din din! I, too, am one week post-op today! WOO HOO! I still have periods of fatigue and feel somewhat anxious at times, but all in all, it hasn't been too bad!

I had a TVH and I did ask my Dr. He said normally he ussed about 5 or 6 to close the vag and then depends on the person how many and the pattern of the " anchor" stitches on the ligaments. On me he used a total of 15 as I'm EXTREMELY active and I got the super stitching job!

I guess it really depends on you, your lifestyle and your Dr.
