Called the doc this morning. Went in had Clean Catch and culture done. He does not think it is a UTI but gave me antibiotic and told me to see if it improved after a week. This logic does not make sense to me.....treat me for an infection he thinks I don't have? Ugh!
I had surgery 05/2004. I still have my ovaries in place every month around the time for a period, I have all the symptoms with the exception of the blood. I experience the symptoms of UTI. During your cycle does your ovaries inflame?
This is one of the topics/questions I forgot to ask my Gyno, yesterday at my 4 week post-op appointment. I too experience a pressure towards the end of urinating. It's weird. I meant to ask my doc, but got sidetracked when she announced that I was still bleeding inside. Minor, but she will have to burn it closed, if it persists. I see her in 2 weeks.
As for the pain/pressure, I've learned to stay away from greasy foods (not sure how that affects my bladder) and I drink plenty of water and CRANBERRY juice.
I hope to have more info about the pain at the end of urinating after tuesday, I have a GREAT gyno who is sending me to a urologist. It doesn't help me at all by drinking cranberry and glases and glasses of water
I am going into week 7 and am having the pain and pressure at the end of urnination along with rectal pressure. Renal ultrasound shows a kidney stoine in left kidney. Had an IVP Friday. No results as yet. Alot of pain in the lower right side, which is weird since the stone is on the left. Urologist says the right side pain is not kidney stone related. Does not know what it is.
