the waiting IS the worst part!!! i'm home

i can't begin to thank everyone and this web site which i had been glued to for the last 2 weeks. i had my tvh-bso on thursday the 25th, i was so scared i thought i was going to have a heart attack before the whole thing, i imagined the dumbest things would go wrong, i even thought the doctor might sneeze and cut something he shouldn't, i also thought i would never wake up so i made sure before i went into the hospital my house was spotless and the laundry was all done and put away, i even washed the baseboards and had the carpet cleaned, and i live in a new house, believe me i was a mess. well i never remember even going into the operating room i bearly remember the recovery room i was mostly out of it on thursday, but was on the phone with my older college kids at night, friday i walked around drank my meals and tried to pee, gas pains came and went, they took the packing out it was quick and painless, i took a shower on saturday morning had a real breakfast and went home i do have a little spotting i have spent my day today laying around (i did go to old navy to return something of course i did not do the driving) tomorrow my husband goes to work and my youngest who is 14 will be in school, so i have all the time in the world to rest and recoup, i know i am lucky, if anyone has any guestions about my trip to the castle just e-mail me. and thanks to everyone for being there for me.

Glad everything went ok for you. I can't believe you went shopping right after getting out of the hospital!! Do you really feel THAT ok? I am having surgery on Tuesday, and all of a sudden I am scared to death!!!

I go in a week from tomorrow, and I must say I AM A NUTCASE. I am having some of the same fears as you and then some!!
I am having a TAH/BSO and it sure was good to hear how well you are doing. I was wondering if you are getting around a little easier because you had a vaginal procedure?? I will have the abdominal incision, but sure would love to fantasize that I will be up and shopping as quickly as you
