I had a vaginal hysterectomy with ovaries left in 5 months ago. The last 2 months I have been plagued with abdominal pains, burning and discomfort in the vagina and back ache. Gyno treated me for bacterial infection, and put me on vaginal estrogen tabs for dryness. Any one out there struggling with these things? It seems I have replaced one pain for another. Has anyone ever heard about scar tissue causing pain as it heals?

Has the estrogen helped any? Those tissues are so delicate and sometimes the additional hormones really help plump up the vaginal tissues and keep everything healthy.

I've had trouble with some stubborn granulation and adhesions. I think you should see your Dr. again with the pain and burning you describe. That sounds miserable. I hope you feel better soon, dear.
