Chronic Cervicitis....does it become chronic cuff-icitis now?

I guess this might seem like a silly/crazy question but for those of you who have had cervicitis in the past....once you have your tah with the cervix removed and a cuff in place.....do you ever have inflammation of the cuff now? If so, what is done about that? Just wondering as I have had problems with this before my tah and wondering now if the cuff can also become inflammed? thanks for any responses.

Hi, I had chronic cervicitis for years before my surgery and I am happy to report that so far I've had no problems (other than a mild UTI 2 weeks after my surgery) in the last 6 months. Hope this calms your fears a little. Take care.

I had chronic cervicitis and didn't even know it until I read my pathology report.

However, I'm glad to report that I haven't had any problems since surgery almost three years ago.
