uphill?
HA! I live in Indiana, the land is so flat around our home that wind can carry a piece of paper across town!! After living in VA, this is SO flat!!
But i have a treadmill, so i can set that for uphill and walk to my hearts delight. Of course, finding time is the problem. I like to walk in the mornings, after i get one son out of the house, hubby out the door and little tyke set up with something he enjoys. I hope i can do that again soon, i really miss it!!

Hey Girls,
I just got finished with my 20 minute treadmill workout. I have been trying to work out on it every day and I have started drinking alot more water. Hopefully my results will start to show soon. I'm also trying to wean off the bread. I have been eatting whole wheat instead of white bread and I hope that will help some too.
Have any of you made any changes yet?
 Sharon

Hi Sharon
I have tried to stay away from breads...just found a recipe for muffins that use oat bran and wheat bran and flax seeds...talk about helping me stay regular they do I put pinapple and oranges instead of all the oil so very heart healthy...and really moist also.
After reading my DR report from a yearly visit I was astonished when it said moderately obiese (sp)? I am 5'9" and weigh 175. So I thought I better do something about it. If I walk every day and watch what I eat I do OK. I haven't felt like doing anything for 2 years

moderatly obese?
at 5'9" and 175? Oh my gosh, i am in deep trouble then. I am more than that. I can button my jeans again, but i have weight to lose big time. I just don't have anyone to lose it with. But i've made a friend here who lost 100 lbs and has about another 50 to lose, so we are going to be prayer partners and work on this together. She runs 8 miles on the treadmill, i can't imagine that. I will be happy walking 5, i have wicked shin splits.
Is this fun?

Hey Girls,
I am getting a kick out of reading your posts here I wish we could all get together and exercise and talk with each other. Wouldn't that be fun? Your receipes sound tasty. I will try to look you some of my low fat healthy receipes to share with you too. I am trying to keep a motto, "Nothing tastes as good as looking good will make you feel" I try to think that whenever I want something that I should not eat. It's getting late here and I better go to bed but I can't wait to see what you all have to say tomorrow. This is Fun!!
Take care, Sharon

i am worried about my bleeding
i am bleeding, bright red blood. I am so stressed out right now i can't think straight, my daughter is about 900 miles away and been going back and forth to ER with ovarian cysts. My brother was hit by a sawblade that flew off a machine and hit him in the side, thank GOD missing all organs, but needed surgery to repair the mess.
can stress cause this?

Hi Sharonka,
I am so sorry all this is happening to you I have read other posts where other sisters experience bleeding but I hope you will call your doctor today and tell him about yours. I'm sure its probably just the stress thats bothering you but please talk to your doctor. I know you must be worried to death about your daughter especially after what you just went through and I hope she will be okay. Your brother sure was lucky, he must have had a guardian angel looking out for him. Hopefully he will be feeling better soon too.
I hope you keep us posted, remember we are all here for you and I will keep you in my prayers.
Take care, Sharon

Well I've finally made some changes. I bought fruit for this week. I'll probably make a salad out of them and that will be my snack. I've also upped my water intake to 44oz a day.
Yesterday I tried doing yoga and all went well. It felt good to do that again. I also have been walking about 15 min a day. Want to up it though to 30 min a day.
I better get out there now and walk cause the rain will be coming this afternoon.
