Post Hyster & TVT 17/2/05

Hello all. It seems that I have not even realised what to expect POST OP as I nearly died from a rotten infection once my SPC catheter was removed.
I am 3 weeks post op. Have only been home 8 days.
I am 2 weeks behind in recovery mode. Great stuff. My constant pain has been from an Absess (pelvic) which caused me some grief. PLEASE could some one tell me how i should be feeling post hyster as I want to know if what I feel is Hyster pain not Absess pain. Thanx Robyn Australia

Bless your heart! You have had a rough time and I pray that you are on the road to a complete recovery soon!

The only experience I have to share is from my TVH. I didn't really have a lot of pain, but I do have a pretty high tolerance for pain. I did feel swollen in the vaginal area, but not really uncomfortable.

Hopefully, someone around here will have some better info for you! I will keep you in my prayers that you are feeling better soon!
