I 2nd Cranberry Juice!

Someone else on the boards mentioned they drank Cranberry Juice before their surgery. I love cranberry juice so a couple days before I drank quite a bit. I had no trouble passing gas or have a bm, which apparently is a big problem for some people. Hate to be so personal but I think this was a big help for me. If you don't like cranberry juice try adding some sprite to it.

I 2nd Cranberry Juice!

I am to be on a liquid diet for 3 days prior, soooooo I am sitting here drinking my white cranberry juice. I like the stuff and sometimes I do add a little sprite to make it a bit more "special".

Good stuff!

cranberry

I also drink cranberry juice (check if is is 100% w/ no fructose syrup- is a bit more expensive but works SO much better) and I add the new Sprite "Zero" to it - 1/2 and 1/2 mix . Is as good as the regular Sprite and very refreshing!!!!

even my kids are into it now! which surprised me!

Cranberry Juice

I have been drinking alot of cranberry juice also but for diffrent reason's I was drinking it to ward off an possible bladder infection, I would hate to have surgery cancelled because of infection. It is great to know it helps with the bowels also.

I 2nd Cranberry Juice!

Thanks for the tip about cranberry juice. I usually drink it every day to take my vitamins. It is also good to add a little seltzer to it or orange juice to cut the taste a little.
I have my SAH scheduled for April 11th, 2005.
Thanks again for the tip.
