Really Missing Orgasms

I am 19 months post op, BSO and struggling to find my sexual self. There have been quite a few posts about libido but not so many about ability to orgasm. I had a hysterectomy about 10 years before loosing my ovaries and the second surgury made a much larger impact on my sex life.

I still have the desire for sex, maybe not as much as before, but it is there. I just am having a hard time continuing to try when it is so very hard and frustrating to have an orgasm. Frustrating for both myself and my partner.

I am using Femring for estrogen and a compounded 1% Testosterone cream. The "T" helps a bit, better than nothing but I am certainly not back to normal.

I am wondering how much nerve damage the doctor did during surgury. I have found that I definantly respond differently to clitoral, vaginal and anal stimulation. Kind of like the nerves down there are "rewired" and I can't quite figure out where the on off switches are.

Could this all be hormonal?

I too had the same problem.

It could be hormonal and nerve damage.

Make sure that your dr evaluates your T levels so that they are in the correct range. I have read that T level blood work should be done every 6 months or so.
