now a blood clot!

Well this has been trying. I had my TVH on June 9th 2004.
I finally got rid of swelly belly, and depression went away
somewhere around the holidays. On Feb 6th I fell and broke
my ankle. Had major surgery, two plates, put in and have been
on crutches since. THis required 4 weeks of bed and elevation.
Last tuesday a DVT was found in my upper leg that is broken.
Then on top of it I was supposed to get out of the cast and
they put it on for another 4 weeks. I have Louvinox? injections
and coumidin.
I am putting a bit of weight on my foot now, and just this week
my swelly belly is back in a MAJOR way. I have lost about 15 lbs
and I know there is alot of stress on my incision and the
ab. area. I am feeling some pulling and slight pain so I worry
about adhesions as well.
Thank you for letting me vent, I am at my witts end.
This was a God send when I had my surgery and its nice to
come back.

Regarding the abdominal pains and sudden swelling, have you mentionned these to your doctor? It could be just normal recovery after all the stress of the ankle injury or it could be something that needs to be addressed.
