Hotflashes maybe?

Ladies,

Please help. I have had two D&Cs in the last three months. Now normally I like to be cold and my cheecks flush easily, but for the last week or so, I have been hot ALL the time. I look like a just ran for an hour!

It doesn't come and go, so I don't know what's wrong with me. Also I stopped taking BC about a month before the first procedure (was on them for about 8 years).

So what gives? (I'm typing with an icebag on my face) Any advice would be wonderful.

Thanks,
Errin

Hotflashes maybe?

Hi, I had a D&C a month or so before my hyst. I did not have hot flashes afterwards. I had not been on birth control ( at 54, had no need there ). That may have something to do with it.

Are you running a fever? Even a low grade fever could make you feel warm all the time.

I think that maybe you should call your dr and let him/her know about it. I think that it's best to be cautious.

Best wishes, please let us know what you learn.

Same heat problems

Same thing here. I don't think it is a hot "flash" as it never goes away--very sweaty constantly-- face ,neck, chest--you name it, it's wet. I have the heat turned down at home and run fans in my rooms at work--blowing directly at me!! As soon as I get home from work, I am in shorts, tanks and no bra. No one has been able to help so I am hoping the hyst. will help.
