Anyone from the Seattle-Tacoma area?

I have a friend out there whose daughter had a very bad ultrasound and will get CA125 and CT scan results tomorrow. Mom is worried and if this is ovarian cancer for her daughter she has already expressed to me that she will need a support group. If anyone knows of a support group in that area for relatives, please PM me. I suggested she check the ACS and hospitals but I imagine it will be hard to find one for relatives.

I live in Seattle... but I don't know of a relative support group. I will be in for a three month check-up in 2 weeks and I can ask in the office or at the chemo center if they know of any. If so, and no-one else has responded sooner, I'll let you know.

Thanks Limbo!

Someone suggested Gilda's but I can use all the ideas/resources I can for her.

Gilda's Club - Seattle - they do have support groups for relatives. Here's information:
www.gildasclubseattle.org
two phones: 206-709-1400 (near downtown Seattle) and north-end 206-440-2025.

Puyallup is about 35 miles south of Seattle.

There is a Gilda's Club in Milwaukee, and one is being started in Madison.

hope this is helpful.

I am southeast of Puyallup and Tacoma and I also don't know of any support groups except Gilda's.
I can give you some Dr names if you need them. I do all my support group stuff on line.
