Thank u dear sisters

Just wanted to thank all of u who responded to my questions! As I write this I'm waiting for a call from my dr. I guess since I've had 19 surguries for endo (and a c-section ) I'm worried about adhesions and if everything is "glued together". Probalby would be best to ditch the cervix. At 43, enough is enough-and as far as the Big O goes- anything is better than having pain for 2 days afterwards! Well, next week at this time, I should be getting ready to leave the castle, crown in tow, and on the way to a speedy recovery! Big hugs!!! Debbie P.s. For all of you that were concerned about DH- (who is a Quadraplegic due to a surfing accident) He has done a wonderful job of finding help for the both of us thru the University he teaches at and my 15 yo son has promised to "step up to the plate" Should be able to rest and take care of me! TAH/BSO 2/14 Endo, Ovarian cysts and PAIN!

Sounds like things are going well for you. And I agree, after all you've been through you may as well get rid of the cervix. Don't want to leave yet ANOTHER reason to go back for more!!

As for the big O, I'm also just trusting that it will be OK. Won't know for awhile, but whatever the situation, I know I made the right decision. Sounds like you are, too.

Glad you have got everything lined out. It is amazing who jumps in to help, I have had help that I never thought about...now if they would send over a housekeeper it would be great, not that DH won't or can't, but I think he needs a break too.

You know, I wanted it all out so no reason to go back! Thankfully my doc got my appendix since it was acute at the same time as the TAH BSO AP plus appie. I have been recovering for 2 wks now.
