b12 deficiency?

i searched posts - looking for b12 deficiency info others might be dx w/. i couldn't find anyone who posted.
i was dx 4yrs ago w/ b12 deficiency. was said at he time to be the cause of my health issues. but now i know the real cause.
wondering if anyone else was dx w/ this deficiency?
is there a relationship to female related problems or does the deficiency make endo, fibroids or cysts symptoms worse.
i received shots for short time....but i would just crash for 3 days afterward. i found a sublingual that was closely related to what the body manufactures, instead of the synthetic kind found in shots.
i was told that i would have to do for rest of life.
if anyone was dx......did it rectify after surgery or stay the same?

thank you :)

i am so glad you saw my post....i am just starting to look for ties to some things too.
i've seen very little on b12 deficiency as it may relate...one small article...that i cannot find now.
because i was not a vegetarian and ate really good before health matters increased, i am wondering how i got the b12 deficiency.
very glad the shots are working for you. i, for some reason didn't do well with shots. i don't like needles, but did the shots until i came across the sublingual. i had to order online....cuz local pharmacy ordered in the same as what was in the shots. thanks bunches.

b12 deficiency?

my b12 deficiency is related to my ulcerative colitis which went undiagnosed for a while. i also have kidney stones because of it. it is an autoimmune disease, so i have problems occationally with fibromyalgia and have had several mini strokes. strokes i am not so sure aren't migraine related.

i am really want to have this surgery to get rid of the pain bleeding and endometriosis so i am frantically looking for all info on everything.
havent found anything about the b12 and hysterectomy that amounted to anything.

continuing to research!!!

good luck

i will look too

hi, sounds like you have been dealing with several overlapping conditions. i have family members one w/ w/ colitis and my husband w/ kidney stones.....both so painful. i will pass any info i find on to you too.
i'm gonna try to find that article this eve. whatever i find i will pass ont on to you.
sure would be nice to rectify the b12 deficiency,if possible.
the lupron shots have given me a piece of normal and i so want more.
did you get a dx of pernicious anemia? one doctor said i did, another said i didn't.
i've had so many conflicting doctor reports....i'm surprised i still have my sanity.
it's been quite a roller coaster ride especially the last 5yrs. and it sounds like you've been on one too. i appreciate any info you come acrossed. thanks much and good luck to you too. m

b12 deficiency?

yes i was....told it is associated with my ulcerative colitis. any info will be gratefully appreciated!!! i don't think they use the term pernicious as often but it's still considered a b12 deficiency. i also take something called foltx ge daily. generic for folic acid w/some other b vitamins as well.

good luck on your search.
