Pain with intercourse (long post)

Ok, sorry in advance, but this will be somewhat graphic as I don't know how else to word it all.
I am 11 weeks post-op from a complete hyst- removed both ovaries and cervix, hence, I now have a cuff. After 6 weeks I was "approved" by my doc to resume "relations" with DH. The first few times we were both a bit nervous, so were very gentle and used the "conventional" position. Everything was great. No pain, no discharge afterward, nothing. At about 9 weeks, we used a different position that we had used many times prior to the hyst and it REALLY hurt!!! Afterward, I had some wierd grayish-mattery like discharge as well as some blood. Also, when I woke up the next morning, my abdomen was really sore! I called the doc the next morning and she said to keep an eye on it & call her again if it got worse, yada, yada.
Then, after another week or so, we used a different position again and the same thing happened! I had discharge, although not as bad as first time, and the pain in belly next morning. YUK!
Last night, we used the conventional method again (he on top) and the pain "during" was very intense. I had a bit of the grayish discharge afterward, but not any blood, and this morning my belly feels like it did 2 weeks post-op.
This seems wierd to me since I am feeling really good otherwise and the first few times we did "it" I was fine.
Do I need to make an appointment with my doc again and make sure all is okay? I HATE the thought of any more doctor visits and/or any internal exams!
HELP!!!

Pain with intercourse (long post)

Hi Mickie,

I know how you feel. I'm 4 months post and I don't want to go back. Your problem sounds more serious than mine. You really do need to go in. It could just be granulation. At least that is an answer that has a solution. Please go and find out and then you'll be done with it.

I'll go to. I've made the call and I'm waiting for a call back so they can work me in. I really don't want to go but I need some answers and I'm tired of worrying. I bet you can be helped in one visit with a treatment. Come on...let's do it....i mean the worse if over right? And if it's interfering with intercourse....you gotta do something!

Dear Mickie,
I agree with Maralyn. You really need to go have this checked. It sounds like you did something in there. It wouldn't continue to hurt this badly if everything were ok. Let us know.

's, Rita
