Post LEEP bleeding continues

Hi - I had a LEEP done 3/22 for moderate dysplasia, started bleeding (bright red) 1-1/2 weeks later. Went back to the doctor on 4/4, and she said some of the scabbing had come off of the cervix too soon. She applied Monsels Solution, and I thought I heard the word "acetone" - the entire thing was very painful. The bleeding has diminished, but is still there. I go back next week, and just wanted to know if anyone had experienced this - if yes, should the bleeding still be going on? (its not due to my cycle, I had the microwave ablation done as well). Thanks for your input; I really enjoy this website and reading about others, its very helpful.
