Swelly Belly (abdominal) Support Band

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SWELLY BELLY BAND!

I'm 4 days postop. Just a few days before surgery I ordered a HysterSisters swelly belly band. It was rushed to me so my sister was able to bring it to me the evening I was released to wear home. I'd had a very painful portion of the incision line due to tape pulling off - it felt like rope burn. I put on the band and was actually able to walk almost normally, with the help of a Vicodin! Before putting on the band it had become too painful to even walk.

Note: Surgeon instructs to keep the incision line dry. In order to use the swelly belly band cooling you need to get it wet in cold water. I simply got it wet in ice water, covered the portion going over the incision with Saran Wrap and then a piece of flannel where it touches the incision and this is working beautifully!

Now I'm doing really well! No naps today, but very low energy. A few walks in the garden. No pain except the usual when getting up from lying down and that's not bad at all.

Thanks for the info! I ordered mine a couple days ago and I was hoping that it would help with support.
I've got 7 days to go until my surgery so the band is all I'm waiting for and I will be packed up and ready to go.
