I am looking forward to going back to Curves

I am only 16 days Post Op, And am so glad it is over. I go back to the Doc this coming wed and of course will ask then , But just wanted to get an Idea from you Ladies when you were released to go back to regular exercise. I have been doing a little of my own stuff around the house, and doing a little outdoor walking as walking is my exercise of choice and the weather is so nice I cannot resist. I am not overdoing I promise i am only strolling , and not very far at all. I had purchased an Ab Lounger that I have not even got to use yet, And I cant wait. But what is the general consensus in the Medical field for us to return to curves.

I am looking forward to going back to Curves

I joined Curves this January, 4 whole years after my hyst, so I didn't have to be released back to it. However, what I've seen is that doctors will not release you until the 8th week. That's because, even though the Curves work-out is relatively easy, it still involves a full-body work-out. Furthermore, a lot of the machines require input from the abdominals and that would be too much for your healing tissues.

However, we're all different and I'm sure your doctor will have input for you on this issue. If he's not familiar with the Curves work-out, you may want to put him/her in touch with your Curves centre.
