Thyroid problem

I was wondering if anyone has a thyroid problem or has in the past. If so waht was the syptoms.

There are two kinds of thyroid problems - hyper (over-active) and hypo (under active). The symptoms differ.

Symptoms of hypo- active include fatigue, and feeling cold. It can be treated with synthetic replacement pills.

The thyroid gland may also be enlarged, and you can see it on the side of your neck. This is called a goiter.

There is a common blood test (can't remember what it is called TSH, I think), but there are also other tests that can be done if that is not conclusive.
