Pray For Students!

A LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER WAS KILLED SATURDAY IN A ATV ACCIDENT. HE WAS SO WELL LOVED AND ADMIRED BY THE STUDENTS AND CO - WORKERS.

HE WAS JUST 37 YRS. OLD.....AND HAD TAUGHT FOR 16 YRS AT THIS SCHOOL. IT HAPPENED SO SUDDENLY THAT OUR COMMUNITY IS IN SHOCK.....THE STUDENTS ARE GRIEF STRICKEN.

A LOT OF THE STUDENTS HAD NO IDEA TO WHAT HAD HAPPENED UNTIL...THEY SHOWED UP FOR CLASS MONDAY ....TO FIND A SIGN ON HIS CLASSROOM ROOM INSTRUCTING THEM TO GO TO ANOTHER ROOM.

THE AREA AROUND HIS ROOM HAS BEEN A PLACE FOR THE STUDENTS TO PUT UP SIGNS AND PICTURES....AND COUNSLERS HAVE BEEN BROUGHT IN.

HIS FUNERAL WILL BE TOMORROW AT THE HIGH SCHOOL....AND THEY HAVE HIM LAID OUT THERE TONIGHT FOR VISITATION.

THIS IS SO HARD ON EVERYONE....HE WAS A FATHER OF ONE SON.

IT WAS ALMOST LIKE HE HAD A FEELING ABOUT SOMETHING TO COME....HE HAD TALKED TO THE PRINCIPAL (THEY WERE CLOSE FRIENDS) A FEW WKS AGO AND TOLD HIM IF ANYTHING EVER HAPPENED TO HIM...TO MAKE SURE THAT HIS SON KNEW THAT HE LOVED HIM MORE THAN ANYTHING.

HE HAD ALSO SENT AN E-MAIL TO ANOTHER CO-WORKER SAYING THAT IF HE SHOULD DIE.....THERE WAS 3 THINGS HE WANTED EVERYONE TO KNOW... 1. THAT HE LOVED HIS SON MORE THAN ANYTHING, 2. THAT HE LOVED ALL HIS STUDENTS, AND TRIED TO TREAT EACH ONE WITH THE SAME LOVE AND RESPECT, 3. THAT WHEN HE WAS 11 YRS OLD , THAT GOD HAD SAVED HIS SOUL.

OUR STUDENTS , STAFF, FRIENDS AND MOST OF ALL HIS FAMILY NEED YOUR PRAYERS.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news,thanks for posting about this and asking for prayers for this wonderful teacher's family, God will bless you for doing so.

Merciful Father God, we lift up this teacher's family, students and friends, he touch so many in his life and was an inspiration to all he knew, although he has now departed from his earthly home, his work will live on, be with his son, and family, hold them close to your bosom, help his family as they make the necessary preparations to say their final good-byes, comfort their heavy hearts, give them courage, strength to endure this difficult emotional time, remember his students that have lost a great teacher, help them to be able to deal with their emotions as they try to cope with the lost of their teacher, let them seek the help of the counselors in dealing with their grief. Lord we ask that you surround this High School, with your Spiritual love, as they mourn the lost of this special loved one, let them remember how he lived and not how he died, and focus on the memory of his final thoughts, that shows just how special he was, keep your Holy blessings upon all of them, let your will be done, in your precious name, Amen.

What a tragic accident. The family, students, friends, and community of this wonderful man and teacher will be in my prayers. God bless you.
