Whats the difference between Enterocle and Rectocele?

Im 12 weeks post op TVH and bladder sling...now have rectocele...I also find enterocele mentioned alot...Just dont know what it is....can any one tell me the difference? Thanks

I'm sorry you have a rectocele, I do too, and mine is pretty extensive. Mine happened about three weeks after my surgery. Do a search on the internet for more info, but a rectocele is a prolapse of the rectum into the vagina, and an enterocele is a prolapse of the small intestine into the vagina, I believe.
I'm going in a week or two for a second opinion as to what I should do. My surgeon is very vague, and no wonder, since she did my hysterectomy.
