Sore nipples?
I'm 8 months post TVH-BSO and have developed a problem the last month with very sore nipples on and off. My breasts seem larger as well, but the breasts themselves are not tender.
Since I have a history of migraines, we really watch my HRT dose closely because too low a dose (0.025) caused monster migraines. In an effort to help the migraines further, we upped my original postop (and most longstanding) estradiol dose of 0.05 two months ago to 0.075. I'm wondering of this dose is too high, as I also have an increased appetite and sore nipples.
The only other variable is a new medication I'm taking for hopeful migraine prevention--Cymbalta. I don't know that sore nipples are a side effect (?!), but many women experience an enhanced libido, which I definitely have.
I plan to call my doctor, but am wondering if anyone else has noticed sore nipples on a higher dose of estradiol. Thanks.
