weight gain
Hi-I have a book by Dr. Ray Strand called Releasing Fat, and he does talk about hormone replacement therapy and gaining weight. He said he has seen it in some cases.
You could always go to the doc and talk about changing types-maybe one of the bio-identical ones, or something like the Vivelle Dot would be worth trying out. I also read somewhere that after menopause we need 100-400 less calories a day. Darn!
Also, you can go to the forum Hysteritaville-there are lots of boards there for fitness, exercise and healthy support.
I am not as far post op as you, so can't say about the weight gain. I do know that it has been harder since surgery to get to exercising-I would rather sit on the couch and watch TV!
