Estrogen Dominance Questions

Hey girls, What exactly is estrogen dominance--is that the same thing as an overdose of estrogen? I am 3 weeks post op and think I am getting to much estrogen. What are the symptoms of having to much estrogen? If you think you are can you just stop taking it for a couple days, I think I am getting in trouble with to much estrogen. Had a rough day--can ya tell, can't seem to stop crying-so nauseated: am really becomming scared if I am going to be OK--I really dont feel right at all... calves hurt, back hurts-on & on.. Did anyone have a problem with ringing ears. Blessings to each of you and any help would be much appreciated. Feeling desperate....

Estrogen Dominance Questions

It seems there is some adjusting to deal with after the surgery that may not be hormonal. Many of the sisters talk about it. However, nausea can be a symptom of too much estrogen. Are you taking Premarin? You may want to tell the doctor about all of your symptoms to rule out any adverse effects of the Premarin. Also, it probably wouldn't hurt to not take your estrogen until you can talk to your doctor about this.

Estrogen Dominance Questions

Janet,
Follow this link and you will find a list of symptoms of too much/not enough estrogen http://www.hormonejungle.com/toomuch.htm

At 3 weeks post op your body is still going thru alot of changes. It may take awhile longer for the hormones to level out. However, I would call the doc and report these symptoms to him/her. You may wish to write it all down so that you don't forget anything.

Best of luck to you Janet. I hope you feel better soon. Let us know what the doc says.
Hugs :-)
